Geospatial Analytics warns great hardships when temperature soar in Bangalore

Bangalore, stands as the wealthiest district in Karnataka with a per capita Gross District Domestic Product (GDDP) exceeding Rs. 5.7 lakh. Therefore, the economic growth of the state predominantly centers around Bangalore. Bangalore, often called India's Silicon Valley, brims with career prospects, courtesy of its thriving IT sector. Nevertheless, this shift spawns more structures and less greenery, depleting cultivable terrain.

Consequently, this transformation boosts urban and barren zones, creating heat-prone hotspots. These heat waves significantly impact both human and wildlife well-being.

According to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) heat index, considering temperature and humidity, Bangalore, usually labeled "Moderate," now experiences temperatures exceeding 40°C, signifying heatwaves and posing a severe threat with prolonged exposure.
